Chefs For Farmers Evolves into a Vibrant Hub for Dallas’ Food Community

For 16 years, the Chefs For Farmers Food & Wine festival has united the Dallas community around exceptional cuisine. What started in 2010 as a single farm dinner has transformed into a significant platform for chefs, farmers, and the broader hospitality community steering the city’s culinary landscape. This year, the festival takes place from November 4-8, featuring five days filled with dinners, tastings, and collaborative experiences.
The festival aims to build connections between culinary talents and agricultural producers, strengthening community relations while promoting local food systems. Chefs source ingredients directly from regional farms, creating bonds that last well beyond the event. Iris Midler, founder of Chefs For Farmers, states, “Dallas’ dining scene has changed tremendously since we started twelve years ago, but our mission has always been to support the remarkable chefs and farmers working tirelessly here.” The festival also introduces new opportunities for emerging and established culinary talent.
