Dallas Market Center Launches AI Training Program for Independent Retailers

The Dallas Market Center, a 5 million-square-foot B2B trading hub located northwest of downtown Dallas, has introduced an AI training initiative designed specifically for independent retailers, a segment that accounts for nearly 57% of Texas stores according to Capital One Shopping data. The Retail Ready program positions itself as the first of its kind for B2B marketplaces, aiming to educate independent retailers on the use of AI in various aspects of their business.

The initiative includes various training methods such as social media, emails, videos, webinars, and resources on the center’s website. It will run as a pilot program throughout January, culminating on the 25th, with plans for further AI training based on participant feedback. As explained by Cole Daugherty, senior VP of marketing communications at Dallas Market Center, the program aims to simplify complex retail challenges with practical AI applications.
