Cameron Harris, a 14-year-old freshman at Cedar Hill’s Collegiate High School, transformed her childhood dream of running a lemonade stand into a flourishing operation in her community. Starting from her home, this venture has become a popular attraction at local festivals and school football games, according to Cedar Hill ISD.
Initially launched when she was young, her business known as Harris Lemonade and Popcorn began to take shape when she experimented with different lemonade flavors as early as second grade. Despite a setback during the pandemic in 2020, she persisted and recently added popcorn to her offerings. Her father, Chris, expressed pride in her growth, highlighting her learning experiences in business management and confidence-building. Cameron is currently saving her profits for college and enjoys participating in extracurriculars such as marching band and volleyball, with her family supporting her stand at home games while she performs.
